IYT YACHT MASTER OFFSHORE
The IYT Worldwide Yacht Master Offshore certificate is a recreational certificate of competency for sailing and power vessels. It is a comprehensive theory and live aboard course consisting of 5 days classroom theory and a practical component of 6 days for sail or 5 days for power including the practical on the water examination.

- 7 Days living aboard the Yacht with 5 Days Practical Tuition

- command of a vessel up to 24 meters in length, less than 200 gross tons
- up to 150 miles offshore

- Note: Yacht Master Offshore is a recreational course that can be taught in any language BUT cannot be upgraded to the professional Master of Yachts certificate.
Minimum entry requirements:
50 days on board a yacht at sea as an active crew member.
Have logged 3,000 miles in a yacht while cruising at sea.
Thirty hours on watch at night underway as an active member of a yacht's crew. For at least six hours of this night time experience, the candidate must have been acting as the vessel's captain/watchleader.
A current medical examination and a colour blindness eyesight examination
A VHF Radio Operators licence.
12 Days Sailing/Theory Course with Examination (Examination Fee Not Included):
Accommodation on board the yacht,Tuition,food (Breakfast & Lunch), Bedding & Linen, fuel,& mooring fees during the practical phase only.
There are No supplements for sole use of a double cabin, our policy is that single females and couples take priority and always get a cabin, thereafter it is on a 'first come' basis.
Flights & Holiday Insurance, accommodation or food during the theory(classroom) phase, fees relating to issuing the International Certificate of Competence (ICC). IYT Certificate (Credit Card style with photograph) & Examination Fees.
